Amnat Charoen Province:

          

          Located at a distance of 583 kilometers from Bangkok, Amnat Charoen Province is situated in the northeastern part of Thailand. This province, known as Land of Dharma, is one of the recently formed regions split off from Ubon Ratchathani province in 1993. Amnat Charoen is located in the Mekong valley. Amnat Charoen is popular for its hand-woven silk cloth and Khit pillows.

          The most beautiful destination preferred by the tourists and adventure lovers is the Mekong River. The banks of the river are surrounded by admirable natural beauty. Water rafting is permitted in the rapids of this river. Phu Sa Bua National Park is located in Amnat Charoen. This park contains large mountain ranges surrounding lush green forests that are home of several exotic flora and fauna.
