Chaiyaphum Province:
Located in the northeastern part
of Thailand, Chaiyaphum is popular as a floral destination. Located amidst the
Korat Plateau, Chaiyaphum is geographically divided into halves by the
Phetchabun mountain range. The history of this province dates back to the
ancient 12th century Khmer Empire.
Chaiyaphum Province is famous for its
exuberant natural beauty. There are four national parks spread over the entire
region. These include Tat Thon National Park known for its dry dipterocarp
forests, Sai Thong National Park famous for the glorious Sai Thong waterfall,
Pa Hin Ngam National Park having strange rock formations and Phu Laen Kha
National Park. All these parks have dense forests, breathtaking waterfalls and
rocky mountain cliffs that are home for various species of exquisite flora and
