Kalasin Province:
Kalasin Province is an ancient province
situated in the northeastern part of Thailand. This province is better
recognized for its traditional Pong Lang music and Jurassic era fossils.
Geographically, the entire province is a hilly terrain.
Historians and tourists can have
a splendid time at Kalasin. The largest assortment of dinosaur fossils is
located in Phu Kum Khayo. Archaeologists have excavated numerous whole fossils
of Sauropods that probably existed some 120 million years ago. Another ancient
city located near Kalasin is Fa Daet Song Yang. Excavations have revealed
several remnants and artifacts of monuments and temples that provide a link of
