Lop Buri Province:
Lop Buri, situated in the central
part of Thailand, is a pre-historical city with alluring natural beauty.
Monkeys are revered in this region and hence Lop Buri is also known as the Land
of Monkeys. The region is also well known for coconut jelly, mushroom jelly and also for its Khao Phra Ngam Gems that are available in
several colors.
Palace of King Narai tops the
list of tourist spots in Lop Buri. There are numerous ancient shrines and
temples in this region, which include Wat
Mani Chonlakhan, Wat Nakhon Kosa and Wat Phra Si Maha That. Khuen Pa Sak
Cholasit, the biggest reservoir in Central Thailand, is a major tourist
attraction in Lop Buri. A train journey over this dam is truly a refreshing

Organized in the King Narai Palace, the celebrations include folk
entertainment, folk dances, and a light and sound presentation describing the
