Nakhon Nayok Province is a paradise for tourists and adventure aficionados.
Located in the central part of Thailand, this delightful land, with its rich
history and culture, is world famous for its gorgeous landscape, huge
mountains, pre-historic caves, lush green forests, magnificent waterfalls,
rivers, and soft adventure opportunities.
There are quite a number of local delicacies offered to the tourists
that can satiate their palates. The most prominent among these is the Boiled
Bamboo Shoot with Pla Ra. There are few other dishes such as Pla Som’s Eggs,
Khanom Dok Sanow and Pomelo fruits that can leave a lingering taste in the
mouths.
Nakhon Nayok province provides the tourists with an everlasting
cultural experience. Various events are celebrated annually by the people,
which include Long Boat Race Festival in October, Ongkharak Ornamental Plants
and Flowers Fair held during April, Tat Bat Thewo Rohana Fair, Sweet
Plum Mango and Nakhon Nayok Products Fair.
