Tha Kha Floating Market is the
significant tourist attraction in Samut Songkhram. Buying fruits, vegetables
and local products from boats is a unique experience. Another most featured
spot is the Don Hui Lot. This is a marvel of the nature and is worth a visit.
It is a sandbar located at the mouth of Mae Klong River and is famous for its
endemic shell population. Catching worm shells is the favorite pastime at Don
Hui Lot. Restaurants serve a wide range
of local products such as fresh-dried worm shell, fresh-dried seafood, fish
sauce, Khlong Khon shrimp paste, palm sugar, and palm juice.
