        Ban Khu Bua Ancient City is situated in the subdistrict of Khu Bua in the province of Ratchaburi. This is an archaeological site which is a must see for those who interested in archaeology or the history of Thailand.

        According to evidences found from the Ban Khu Bua Ancient City site, there are indications that Ratchaburi used to be a port city during the Dvaravati era. The architecture of the ancient city also shows that it was influenced by the Gupta School of Indian art. Further evidence shows that Buddhism has been around in Thailand for more than one thousand years.

        Khao Ngu Stone Park is located in the subdistrict of Ko Phlapphla and is situated at the foot of Khao Ngu Hill. It is around 8 kilometers from the town and has a cave that relates to Buddhism.

        Inside the cave you can see a relief image of Lord Buddha which has been sculptured in wall of the cave. This image shows Lord Buddha sitting in European style and that posture is that of preaching a sermon. The posture is according to the art found during the Dvaravati period.
