Interesting tourist attractions inside the park include magnificent waterfalls, serene surroundings and exotic wildlife. Notable among these is the Namtok Phu Soi Dao, a 5-step waterfall situated in the Nampad National Conserved Forest. Another beautiful sightseeing spot is the Namtok Sai Thip, which is a 7-step waterfall that is approximately 5-10 meters high. Apart from these, trekking ranges are available on different hills located inside the park. Popular among these are the Nuen Prapsiane, Nuen Suakrong, Nuen Morana and Nuen Songyart. Tourists can also make a visit to Soidao Land, a summit plateau that is densely populated with pine trees and is located 1,800 meters above sea level.
Phu Soi Dao National Park is a popular tourist destination due the fact that the climate inside the park is cool and pleasant throughout the year. Average temperatures usually range between 13°C and 35°C. However, rainy season is an appropriate time to visit this park primarily because one can see nature in full bloom. It is a delight to watch wild flowers such as Ngon Nak and Dok Din blossom in a riot of colors during this season. Wildlife inside the park includes different varieties of plants, many kinds of birds and also animals such as serows, bears, wild boars, deers, monkeys, barking deers, and langurs.
There are several hotels and resorts located around the park that provide affordable accommodation to tourists. Overnight stay is permitted inside the park. There are public buses operating from Uttaradit to the Nampad district town. You can get down here and take a local bus or rent a pick up so as to reach the park office.
